TRANSLYX was born out of professional necessity. With over two decades of combined experience delivering translations for international organisations, government bodies, and the private sector, including sworn translation for courts, embassies, and public institutions, our team knows what professional translators actually need.
For years, we relied on the same tools everyone else used: expensive desktop CAT applications with annual licence fees, steep learning curves, and feature sets frozen in time. Every new version brought higher costs and marginal improvements. The tools were designed in an era before AI, before the cloud, and before modern web technologies transformed what software could do.
We asked a simple question: if we were building a CAT tool from scratch today, knowing everything we know about translation workflows, AI, and modern software, what would it look like?
